Minerva Engineering Awarded 2008 Top Training & Simulation Company by Military Training Technology Magazine

Tempe, AZ - October 1, 2008

Minerva Engineering has received the award for 2008 Up and Coming Training & Simulation Company from Military Training Technology magazine. This award was given to Minerva Engineering for demonstrating advancement in key technologies and concepts that best support the military training community. The work we have been performing for AFRL, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and others is responsible for bringing a new level of excellence to training systems designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the warfighter.

Minerva Engineering’s Simulation and Training Systems Group specializes in the design, development, production, and integration of high-fidelity emulated equipment for use in live, virtual and constructive (LVC) training environments. The products we develop are intended to provide the Warfighter with the best training available to ensure that they “train like they fight, and fight like they train.” These products include mission critical equipment emulations for realistic air traffic control (ATC), terminal attack control (TAC), Call for Fire (CFF) coordination training, and mission rehearsal including: M-22 binoculars, MK VII, GLTD II, IZLID, DAGR (GPS), and military compass to name just a few. At the heart of each emulated device is our Advanced Core Emulatorsm (ACE) architecture which provides the flexibility to adapt any device to any host system. Along with a simple and extendable data driven interface, ACE provides a scalable API for developing high-fidelity functional emulations.

Since our introduction to the LVC defense community only two years ago, Minerva Engineering has rapidly developed a reputation with our customers and the user community alike for providing high quality products that offer incredible realism and attention to detail. Wherever serious LVC training is being conducted, our emulator products can be found. We have developed partnerships with key system integrators and government trainers and are working to incorporate their unique concepts into our current designs. With a robust IR&D budget fostering new innovation, Minerva Engineering is already preparing for the deployment of advanced emulation technologies that will ultimately bring significant advancements in LVC training.

This year, Minerva Engineering will be demonstrating its next generation of high fidelity emulators, transportable implementation environment and Advanced Core Emulation architecture (ACE). Our devices will also be in the booths of our customers including the Air Force Research Lab and Boeing Corporation.
