Minerva Engineering Awarded 2009 Top Training & Simulation Company by Military Training Technology Magazine

Mesa, AZ - October 2, 2009

Minerva Engineering has received the award for 2009 Most Innovative Training & Simulation Company from Military Training Technology magazine. This award was given to Minerva Engineering for being an industry leader in innovation that best support the military training community. New technology enhancements for the hardware and software that make up the core of our emulator products are bringing a new level of excellence to training systems designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the warfighter. This year, Minerva Engineering has demonstrated the next generation of our high fidelity emulators, transportable implementation environment and Advanced Core Emulation architecture (ACE).

Minerva Engineering’s Simulation and Training Systems group specializes in the design, development, production, and integration of high-fidelity emulated equipment for use in live, virtual and constructive (LVC) training environments. The products we develop are intended to provide the Warfighter with the best training available to ensure that they “train like they fight, and fight like they train.” These products include mission critical equipment emulations for realistic air traffic control (ATC), terminal attack control (TAC), Call for Fire (CFF) coordination training, and mission rehearsal including: M-22 binoculars, MK VII, GLTD II, IZLID, DAGR (GPS) and military compass to name just a few. At the heart of each emulated device is our Advanced Core Emulatorsm (ACE) architecture which provides the flexibility to adapt any device to any host system. Along with a simple and extendable data driven interface, ACE provides a scalable API for developing high-fidelity functional emulations.

Since our introduction to the LVC defense community three years ago, Minerva Engineering has rapidly developed a reputation with our customers and the user community alike for providing high quality products that offer incredible realism and attention to detail. Wherever serious LVC training is being conducted, our emulator products can be found. We have developed partnerships with key system integrators and government trainers and are working to incorporate their unique concepts into our current designs.

Minerva Engineering provides systems engineering, software engineering and electro-mechanical integration and prototyping services for government space systems and C4ISR tactical systems and components. Minerva Engineering is a private company founded in 1997 and maintains its corporate headquarters in Tempe, Arizona, with offices in Linthicum, MD, Huntsville, AL, Bristow, VA, Sacramento, CA and Colorado Springs, CO.
