Minerva Engineering Awarded Prime Contract by
AFRL for Development of a Prototype Sensor Suite for the Deployable Garrison Virtual
Trainer
Tempe, AZ - July 15, 2007
Minerva Engineering announced today that it has been awarded a Firm Fixed Price
prime contract by the AFRL under BAA-05-04-HE for development of the a prototype
sensor suite for Deployable Garrison Virtual Trainer (D/G VT).
The objective of this effort is to analyze, design and prototype a Sensor System
for the AFRL Deployable Garrison Virtual Trainer (D/G VT) to provide new abilities
for dynamic capabilities-based training. This will significantly contribute to fulfilling
DoD training transformation requirements and USAF Transformation Flight Plan needs
for increased training involving Close Air Support (CAS), Special Operations Force
(SOF), urban ops and joint/coalition forces.
