Minerva Engineering Joins Northrop Grumman's STSS
Program
Phoenix, Arizona - Feb 28, 2003
Minerva Engineering announced today that is has joined Northrop Grumman's Space
Tracking and Surveillance System (STSS) Program, formerly SBIRS-Low. The work is
done exclusively out of Minerva Engineering's Washington DC Regional Office and
consists of providing Systems Engineering and Requirements Engineering support across
the entire Northrop Grumman STSS Program. Minerva Engineering's long history of
support to space programs and SBIRS-Low in particular make this an ideal fit.
"We're extremely happy to be a part of Northrop Grumman's effort on the STSS program"
said Robert La Bella, President of Minerva Engineering and Director of Systems Programs.
"Minerva Engineering has a long history of providing quality Systems Engineering
support to many different space programs including SBIRS-Low and plan on bringing
the same innovative approaches to this effort as we have to others in the past."
Mr. La Bella also pointed out that like Northrop Grumman, Minerva Engineering has
a rich history of innovative engineering and design approaches that are at times
revolutionary. "That's why we believe we'll be able to make a significant contribution
to Northrop Grumman's efforts - not only is it the high quality of the engineering
staff supporting the effort, but opportunities for synergy abound in environments
that foster creativity and innovation."
